PT Metraplasa is an e-Commerce joint venture between PT. Telkom Indonesia and eBay. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead our Merchant Acquisition efforts. The role reports to General Manager.
Business Development Manager
Skills required:
Ability to formulate partnership models with merchants from various product categories
Present pitch in a persuasive manner to win business
Creative and entrepreneurial approach to driving business growth
Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills
Proven track record in negotiating,influencing and communicating with senior decision makers
Basic knowledge of Category Management gained from either FMCG or Retail
Understanding of digital media and emerging trends online
Personal organization and time management skills
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Attention to details
Desired attitudes/behavior:
Entrepreneurial
Self-driven, with a can-do mindset
High tolerance for ambiguity
Willing to get hands-on
Customer-centric approach: any deals should be calculated with our customers in mind
Working with various internal and external stakeholders, ability to influence without formal authority but with collaborative approach
A passion for and a desire to work in e-Commerce
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience in managing sales team and business development process
Can explain what each of eBay and Telkom does to our grandmother
Even better if able to effectively communicate the above in quick, simple, plain Bahasa Indonesia and English
You will work with the best people from global e-Commerce player, the largest telco in the nation and experienced people in the retail / internet business in this growing and exciting market.
