Ladies Pattern (Sample Maker)
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with fashion designer professionals, problem solving and creating solid patterns for ladies and children wears.
- Creating complete pre-production samples per selected designs.
- Sourcing supporting garment related accessories to finalize pre-production samples.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for running a sample room for ladies and children wears by creating various patterns and samples from our fashion designer professionals.
- This position will be a great opportunity to bulk up your portfolio, create contacts, and work with an innovative team of professionals in fashion/garment industry
- Maintaining the sample room and updating the pre-production sample archives
Requirements:
- A strong portfolio to showcase.
- Must have excellent working knowledge and understanding of fashion designs.
- Must have strong ability to create the perfect pattern.
- Must have excellent sewing techniques (manual/machine).
- Ability to meet deadlines on a daily basis and multi-task in a very fast paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills a must given daily interface with fashion designers and fashion merchandisers.
- Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Minimum of 5 years of creative fashion design experience.
- Must have a strong eye for artistic, creative and fashion details
