Electrician (EL)
Requirements:
- Min Senior High School or similar
- Min 3 (three) years experience as electrician
- Experience in underground mining will be preferable
- Shows knowledge in mechanical and pumps
- Shows knowledge in construction and maintenance, electrical, mechanical, and pipe work
- Able to perform basic electrical competencies
- Able to perform basic mechanical competencies
- Able to perform use of testing equipment safely
- Able to read and write
- Shows motivation to apply Newcrest Values
Requirements:
- Min Senior High School or similar
- Min 8 (eight) years of underground operational experience
- Min 2 (two) years experience in operating jumbo drill
- Holds Blaster-2 certification
- Experience in underground blasting, charging, and explosive handling activities
- Shows extensive knowledge of underground drilling, blasting and ground support
- Experience in operating underground bogger/loader is preferable
- Experience in operating 2 (two) other underground mobile equipments
- Able to perform work area inspection
- Able to read and write
- Shows motivation to apply Newcrest Values
Solo Operator (SO)
Requirements:
- Min Senior High School or similar
- Min 6 (six) years of underground operational experience
- Min 2 (two) years of underground drilling experience
- Able to operate solo drill in underground
- Experience in stope drilling, charging, and explosive handling activities
- Experience in cabolter operation is preferable
- Experience in tele-remote bogger operation is preferable
- Experience in operating 2 (two) other underground mobile equipments
- Able to perform work area inspection
- Able to read and write
